The goal of the NYPD Clay Target Team - Team 911 is to provide a vehicle for interaction, socialization and education in the shooting sports among first responders, military veterans, youth and the general public.

To promote sportsmanship, camaraderie and goodwill with the public while participating in clay target sports, both nationwide and internationally.

To introduce and provide education in the safe handling, use and respect of firearms to our nation’s youth through programs participating in clay target sports.

To promote the memory of the World Trade Center attacks of September 11, 2001 to the general public through educational presentations and exhibits contained within the Team 911 mobile trailer.

Who We Are

The NYPD Clay Target Team Inc. brings together law enforcement members, youth, families, and supporters to build community through the sport of competitive clay target shooting. We promote safety, mentorship, and positive community engagement—on and off the range.
